  • !1. Old Passport Booklets are MANDATORY to be attached with the Latest Passport
  • !2. Visa form needs to be TYPED ONLY as the Embassy will not accept any handwritten form
  • !3. All documents (including bank statements) should only be printed on A4 size sheet
  • !4. If applicant have bank statements on large sheets, please copy them on A4 size sheets and enclose it with the visa application

  1. A valid Passport (with more than two blank pages). Please submit your old passports also, if any.

  2. Photocopy of the Bio Data Page of the Current Passport (First and Last Page)

  3. A completely filled and signed Visa Application Form.

  4. One photograph taken within the last 6 months. (The photograph should be passport size with

  6. Covering letter (if any special explanation is needed)

  7. Document to show the flight/cruise schedule to/from Japan

  8. Itinerary in Japan (including hotel information, contact information while in Japan)

  9. Latest Income Tax Return (if not available, bank statement of last 6 months)

  10. Japan Embassy has made it mandatory to provide Applicant`s email id and Mobile number in the visa form. As there is no E-mail option available in the Visa application form, it has to be mentioned after Applicant`s residential address.

  • If the applicant is retired- Proof of retirement, pension statements for the last three months; – proof of regular income generated by ownership of property or business.
