Why this journey
This is the standard Egyptian pairing and it works for a reason: the sightseeing is concentrated into one guided morning, and the rest of the week is genuinely yours.
Two nights in Cairo cover the Giza plateau — the Great Pyramid, Khafre, Menkaure and the Sphinx — with a private Egyptologist. Then you fly to Hurghada and stop doing anything in particular.
The Red Sea hotel is all-inclusive, so the three days there carry no further cost unless you book excursions. The reef off this coast is the draw: shallow, warm and busy with fish, and reachable from the beach or by boat.
Nothing is scheduled in Hurghada. If you would rather dive, snorkel or take a desert quad trip, the hotel desk arranges it locally.

Common questions
Is the Red Sea hotel all-inclusive?
Yes. Meals and the usual drinks at the resort are covered for the three nights at Hurghada. Excursions booked outside the hotel are not.
Are the internal flights included?
No. Cairo–Hurghada and back are domestic flights and sit outside the package rate. We can quote them so they line up with the transfers.
Is there any sightseeing at Hurghada?
None scheduled, deliberately. The hotel desk can arrange snorkelling, diving, quad trips or a boat day if you want structure; otherwise the days are yours.
Can you snorkel from the beach?
At many of the resorts on this coast, yes. Where the house reef is poor the hotel runs boats out to better sites, paid locally.
Would seven nights suit us better?
If you want more beach, yes — we run the same pairing with five nights on the coast instead of three. The Cairo half is identical.
