Why this journey
Sharm sits where the Gulf of Aqaba meets the open Red Sea, and the water there is the clearest in Egypt. Five nights is enough to dive it properly rather than sample it.
The trip opens with two nights in Cairo and a private guided morning at Giza — the Great Pyramid, Khafre, Menkaure and the Sphinx — which is the right amount of sightseeing for a holiday whose centre of gravity is the sea.
After that, nothing is scheduled. Ras Mohammed National Park and the Straits of Tiran are both day-boat trips from the marina, the resort is all-inclusive, and the week is yours.

Common questions
What makes Sharm better than Hurghada for diving?
Clarity and the sites. Ras Mohammed National Park and the Straits of Tiran are both reachable on a day boat and are among the best-known dives in the world. Hurghada has good reefs too and is usually cheaper.
Is the resort all-inclusive?
Yes, for all five nights. Dive packages and day boats are booked and paid locally.
Do I need to dive?
No. The reef comes close inshore here, so the snorkelling is unusually good and plenty of guests never use a tank.
Are the domestic flights included?
No. Cairo–Sharm and the return are excluded and can be quoted alongside the package.
Can we visit St Catherine’s from Sharm?
It is a long day from the resort. If the monastery and Mount Sinai matter to you, our Coptic Egypt and Mount Sinai package builds them in with the overnight climb rather than tacking them on.
