When it blooms
In Tokyo and Kyoto the blossom usually opens in the last week of March and is at its best in early April. Each place is in full bloom for about a week.
Book early
Blossom week is Japan's busiest time for hotels. Plan by January for the widest choice.
Visas
Indian passport holders need a visa for Japan and for South Korea. Allow four to six weeks; we prepare the file.
