Why this journey
The same week as our Sharm version with one practical difference: you reach the sea by road rather than by air. Luxor to Hurghada is about four hours across the Eastern Desert, which removes a flight and its connection from the middle of the trip.
Before that, the Nile does the work. Aswan on the first afternoon for the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, then three nights full board sailing north — Kom Ombo, where the temple is doubled between Sobek and Haroeris, and Edfu, which survived almost whole beneath the silt.
The last morning on the river is the Theban west bank: the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's terraces and the Colossi of Memnon. Then the drive east, and two all-inclusive nights with nothing arranged.

Common questions
How does this differ from the Sharm version?
Only the coast at the end. Hurghada is reached by a four-hour drive from Luxor rather than a flight via Cairo, which removes a connection. Sharm generally has the clearer water; Hurghada is usually the cheaper of the two.
What standard is the Nile cruise?
A 4-star vessel on full board. Cabins are outward-facing with a picture window, and the boat carries a sun deck, a restaurant and a lounge. Cruise check-in is before lunch at noon and check-out after breakfast at 08:00.
Is Abu Simbel included?
No, but it is offered as an optional excursion by private coach on the sailing morning, arranged and paid locally. It is a long round trip south from Aswan and worth the early start if the site matters to you.
Are drinks included on board?
No. Full board covers meals only; drinks of any kind are charged on board, and international menus are served.
How many tombs do we enter in the Valley of the Kings?
Three are included in the standard ticket. Tutankhamun’s tomb is ticketed separately at the gate.
Are the domestic flights included?
No. The Cairo–Aswan and Luxor–Cairo legs are excluded from the rate and can be quoted alongside the package so they match the transfers.
