Discover Tbilisi, Kazbegi, Gudauri and Kakheti on a 5-day Georgia tour with hotel stays, breakfast, scenic drives and a wine tasting in Kakheti.
Spend five days in Georgia on a route that brings together Tbilisi’s old streets, the high mountain scenery of the Caucasus and the wine country of Kakheti. The journey begins in Tbilisi, where you settle into the capital and start with a city experience that connects historic landmarks, riverfront views and the capital’s newer architecture.
In Tbilisi, the pace moves from Metekhi Church and the monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali to Rike Park, the Bridge of Peace and the cable car ascent to Narikala Fortress. From there, the route drops into the Sulphur Bath District and Meidan Square before heading up to the Chronicles of Georgia for broad views across the city and the Tbilisi Sea. It is a day that gives you a clear sense of how the old and modern parts of the capital sit side by side.
The next day follows the Georgian Military Highway through some of the country’s best-known mountain scenery. Zhinvali Reservoir, Ananuri Fortress, the Cross Pass and Gudauri create a steady sequence of viewpoints and historic stops, before the route continues by 4x4 to Gergeti Trinity Church beneath Mount Kazbegi. The combination of road journey, mountain access and time for photos makes this one of the most memorable parts of a Georgia holiday.
The final touring day moves into Kakheti, Georgia’s principal wine region. Bodbe Monastery brings a quieter religious stop, Sighnaghi adds fortified streets and hillside views, and KTW Winery introduces the region’s winemaking traditions through qvevri-based production and tasting. With hotel stays in Tbilisi, daily breakfast, transfers and guided touring included, this Georgia package is a balanced choice for travellers who want culture, scenery and wine in one compact trip.
You leave from a different place than you arrive — book an open-jaw flight, not a return.
Airport meet and greet on arrival; final transfer included on departure.
