Begin in Tashkent, where the old and new sides of the capital sit close together. Visit the Hazrati Imam Complex, browse Chorsu Bazaar, and pass modern landmarks including Independence Square, Amir Temur Square and the Broadway district. The day closes with hotel check-in, leaving time to settle in before the rail journey ahead.

Continue to Samarkand by bullet train and spend the day exploring some of the most recognised names in Central Asian travel. From the Registan ensemble and Bibi-Khanym Mosque to Shah-i-Zinda, Guri Emir and the paper-making village of Konigil, the programme brings together architecture, craftsmanship and living heritage without rushing the pace.
