What the word premium is doing here
The drive is the drive. Every evening safari out of Dubai covers the same forty minutes of tarmac, the same stop to let the tyres down and the same stretch across the dunes afterwards. What changes on this one is where you spend the hours that follow — the camp, its seating and its facilities, rather than anything about the desert.
If you have done one of these before and found the camp the weakest part, that is what this one is for. If the driving is what you came for, it is not.

Abu Dhabi. Pickups run from Dubai and Sharjah only, which catches out people staying an hour down the coast.

What does premium actually refer to?
The camp rather than the desert. Seating, dining and facilities differ; the drive and the dune section are the same as any evening safari from Dubai.
Can I book this from Abu Dhabi?
No. Collection runs from Dubai and Sharjah only, which is worth confirming before you book if you are staying further down the coast.
Is the dune driving different?
No. Same route, same vehicles, same drivers as the standard evening version.
