A valid Passport (with more than two blank pages). Please submit your old passports also, if any.
Photocopy of the Bio Data Page of the Current Passport (First and Last Page)
A completely filled and signed Visa Application Form.
One photograph taken within the last 6 months. (The photograph should be passport size with
white background and printed on good quality paper)
Covering letter (if any special explanation is needed)
Document to show the flight/cruise schedule to/from Japan
Itinerary in Japan (including hotel information, contact information while in Japan)
Latest Income Tax Return (if not available, bank statement of last 6 months)
Japan Embassy has made it mandatory to provide Applicant`s email id and Mobile number in the visa form. As there is no E-mail option available in the Visa application form, it has to be mentioned after Applicant`s residential address.
Important Notes
- ⚠️1. Old Passport Booklets are MANDATORY to be attached with the Latest Passport
- ⚠️2. Visa form needs to be TYPED ONLY as the Embassy will not accept any handwritten form
- ⚠️3. All documents (including bank statements) should only be printed on A4 size sheet
- ⚠️4. If applicant have bank statements on large sheets, please copy them on A4 size sheets and enclose it with the visa application
- ⚠️5. The Documents should only be printed on one side. Pages with printing on both sides are not acceptable any longer
- ⚠️6. Please DO NOT staples any sheets
- ⚠️7. Only 03 months updated bank statement is required. Additional bank statements will be returned henceforth
- ⚠️Embassy has stopped accepting scanned copy of documents from now onwards, Hence please send all the documented original hard copies to avoid any delay in submission.
