It sails on time
The departure is fixed, and the booking terms make the consequence plain: arrive after the boat has gone and nothing is owed to you. Allow more margin than feels necessary. Dubai Harbour is not quick to reach at that hour, and the boarding point is not obvious once you are among the towers.
On the water
An evening loop out past the wall of marina towers, along the JBR waterfront and around Bluewaters, where the observation wheel dominates everything after dark. Two hours covers that circuit without hurrying it.
Aboard
Dinner is served during the sailing aboard the Jack Sparrow, a floating restaurant themed exactly as the name promises — buffet rather than table service, included in the booking rather than chosen from a menu.
Getting there
You meet the boat. Hotel collection exists but is added to the booking separately rather than being part of it.

What happens if I arrive late?
The boat sails to schedule and nothing is owed once it has gone. Allow more time than you expect — the harbour is slow to reach in the evening.
